Music on Hold is too loud for our one client. We looked up the forum post on how to change it.
[root@pbx ~]# cd /var/lib/asterisk/moh
[root@pbx moh]# sox 1.wav 1_vol10.wav vol .10
We do this and it works well… with one issue. After we save and apply its all there. Great!!!
Well once we go back in to delete the originals which are too loud… the modified deletes with it. Am I doing something wrong or is the new file thats created just reference the original file. If that’s the case then the above is no solution because its going to select the louder ones anyway.
