Morning all,
FreePBX Distro for testing is 6.12.65-22 with all module admin updates current.
I have a customer that is looking to get a new PBX and have no issues looking at using FreePBX (Have quite a few out there now.) The only difference with this one is that they use a service called Messages on Hold.
This is a device that plugs into a audio socket on a PBX like a mic jack.
I am trying to find concise step by step instructions on how to use the line in port on the PC i am looking to set up.
From running lspci, i can see the device is listed
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)
Thanks jersonjunior, I had found that before but it seemed a bit outdated and was referred from http://www.freepbx.org/131 which talks about not editing the moh file.
I am setting up a test machine so i will give that a go.
I would like to get this to work but worst case i guess i can record to wav format. I just want inbound callers not to hear the same part of MOH when they call in all the time.
Cheers
