Moving to new DIDs

I have the task of moving from a 3 digit DID system to a 4 digit DID system. We’ll be making some changes in order to do this which include editing the users.conf file and moving all voice related files to the new extensions. My question is: will there be any conflicting scenarios that I should be aware of?

We are running FreePBX 2.3.1.5…

Any help would be appreciated.

I think we will need so more detail to help you. Are you changing the extension numbers? Is your provider changing from 3-digit DID’s to 4-digit DID’s.
