Moving to a New VOIP Provider - How to forward all calls

Hi All,

I’m sure this is pretty simple but I’m not being able to find this in the GUI or by searching the forums (I’m probably searching under the wrong terms). I’m hoping someone here can help or point me to the correct place in the documentation.

We’re moving from one VOIP provider to another, and I need to forward all incoming calls to a temp number to the new provider while we are porting the numbers. I have several inbound routes (DID/Numbers) and would like to do separate forwards for each one.

My current system is running:
Asterisk Version: 1.2.1 release 14, Filesystem: 1.2.2

Can’t your existing provider forward the calls for you?

They can but they aren’t the fastest provider when it comes to customer service and tech support (which is one of the reasons we’re changing providers).

Can’t you just leave the existing VoIP provider in place on your server to handle the calls and setup the new provider.
