We have the need to move call recordings to a shared drive off PBX. They would like the recordings moved near real-time. Is there a way to tell if a recording file is finished generating prior to trying to copy or move it? I have had a few longer calls get cut off because I am moving a file for a call that is still in process.
Instead of moving would mounting the share on top of the default directory work better? That way the recording is stored directly at the destination without the need to move it.
Settings → Advanced Settings.
You can write a script to move the file, or, update a table with the file that can be moved.
