MOH Streaming only working for one instance

I have a MOH Stream setup with:

/usr/local/bin/mpg123 -q -s --mono -r 8000 -f 8192 -b 0 http://scfire-mtc-aa04.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1040

I use this stream for when people are waiting for the leader to join a conference. The first caller to the bridge gets the music stream, but when a second person joins the music stream stops and neither participants hear the music.

I also tried having a single person waiting to join a conference and then putting a call on hold. This results in the same issue.

The bottom line is that it appears that mpg123 will not support multiple streams. I don’t know if this is an mpg123 issue or if it is an Asterisk / Freepbx issue.

I’m using Freepbx 2.9.0 Beta2.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll look for some non streaming options.

no change whether 2.9 or earlier for that, and in the end it’s all parameters stored and passed to Asterisk.

Whether Asterisk or mpg123, no idea…

as a general rule though, beware of streaming MoH like this, i’ve seen streaming cause a lot of instability in some systems.
