"....module.xml does not exist"

Hi,
Just tried to login to the admin console this morning and get the following error message :

“/var/www/html/admin/modules/framework/module.xml does not exist”

Any suggestions on why I get this ? I checked and indeed, there is no module.xml file in this directory.
I don’t think I made any changes to the system, so don’t see why this happens …
thanks !

I’d start with “twconsole ma install framework --force” and see what happens.

I’m not sure it will work, but if it does, it should solve your problem.

https://wiki.freepbx.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=37912685 would be a good place to start to get all of the options, in case (which wouldn’t be uncommon) I messed up the syntax.

It’s fwconsole, not twconsole. Probably a typo.

A lil better would be to do a fresh download.

fwconsole ma downloadinstall framework --force

Hi, Thanks a lot to both .
First command gave me an error :

Unable to install module framework:

  • Module is broken and cannot be installed. You should try to download it again.

With the second one, it went through and everything is working again , Thanks
What is the root cause ? do you know ? I did not updated any module or anything … just to prevent to have it happen again
Thx
