Module updates not working anymore

I recently installed FreePBX using the latest ISO and then did all available updated to both system and modules.
It’s now running FPBX ver, system ver 12.7.5-1807-1.sng7 and Asterisk ver 14.7.5.

The system has been configured and everything works except that now when I try to check for module updates (by clicking Check Online), it fails with the following message:

Warning: Cannot connect to online repository(s) (, Online modules are not available.

I thought it might be DNS issue but DNS is working perfectly! Where else can I look to figure this out?

Thanks in advance!

As I write this, mirror2 appears to be down but mirror1 is working fine.

Can you ping from the command line? If so, can you fetch with wget or curl?

Yes pinging works:

PING ( 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from ( icmp_seq=1 ttl=52 time=103 ms
64 bytes from ( icmp_seq=2 ttl=52 time=20.6 ms
64 bytes from ( icmp_seq=3 ttl=52 time=24.1 ms
64 bytes from ( icmp_seq=4 ttl=52 time=17.5 ms

but wget seems to be getting stuck!

What could be causing this? Where do I need to look?

FYI mirror2 is no longer functioning. We took it down last year.

does wget work for you?

Yes it seems to be working now.

Thanks for your help!
