Missed call email notification

I’m using Elastix 2.4 which comes with FreePBX 2.8.1.5.
I’m trying to setup email notification for missed calls and there is a module for FreePBX that does that called missedcallnotify but unfortunately it requires FreePBX version 2.10 to work.

Is there a way to get it working on my FreePBX 2.8.1.5?
Or is there some other way to get email notifications for missed calls?
Is it possible to upgrade FreePBX to 2.10 if I use ELastix 2.4?

Sorry wrong Forum, Elastix a long time ago stopped using a legitimate FreePBX, Their forked up one can only be supported by them.

So are you saying that FreePBX 2.8.1.5 contained in Elastix 2.4.0 is different than regular FreePBX 2.8.1.5?
