I currently have a switchvox system for my small office and several tenants. I want to switch to a freepbx system in stages. First a couple test phones, then my office and then tenants. Each group moved to the freepbx system does not need to be peered to the switchvox except to have access to the voip provider. I would really like to have a trunk from the freepbx to the switchvox that looks like a provider trunk rather than a peer trunk so I will be setting up and testing the freepbx just like it will be in production. Then, when all phones are moved, I just need to change the voip provider from switchvox trunk to the real voip provider. Is this possible or is there a better way to migrate?
