Microsoft Teams

I was looking for a simple solution to link our FreePBX to Microsoft Teams. I found a simple solution that I liked so much, my company became a reseller. It’s on a per-user basis with nothing to install so companies can pick and choose which users they want to have access. You can also choose if you want to use Teams voicemail or your PBX’s.

We use this everyday and I’m very happy with it. If you need help with something like this, please let me know.

Instead of soliciting PMs, just state the name of the solution you’re using and state whether you are associated with them or merely a happy customer. This post has a smell of spam about it, but assuming it’s not given the previous post history.

Thanks for the feedback.

Definitely not spam, I did say that we are a very happy customer and now a reseller. Very transparent.

I concur; Teams is a pretty nice softphone/mobile solution that folks are increasingly getting interested in. It has its limitations but Microsoft is actively improving it.

One company I have worked with has done Direct Routing straight to carrier, no PBX in the middle. The options that come with Teams are enough in that case. More sophisticated setups still need the help of a capable PBX like FreePBX.

I personally would like to see the Microsoft-side licensing costs go down. The $8/user (MSRP) for Phone System licensing is unfortunate.

I agree with everything you said.

We have done Direct Routing straight to carrier also and that works nicely too.
