In the help questionmark for voicemail maxsilence, it indicates the unit is MILLIseconds. Is this correct?
Or, is the value actually interpreted in seconds?
Some online discussion seems to indicate it might be seconds.
Thanks,
Jon

I’m running FreePBX version 13.0.151, which was downloaded and installed about 3 weeks ago. The help text for maxsilence on that install reads :
How many miliseconds of silence before we end the recording
what menu/page… copy the url everything after config.php?
Update all of your modules. Furthermore 13.0.151 is vulnerable to a root exploit.
OK, now I am up to firmware 10.13.66-15 FreePBX 13.0.167
The update to 10.13.66-13 seemed to make a big change in the voicemail admin pages, and the maxsilence is now described as seconds.
One question I had is why did I get a download of such an old package when I downloaded the iso just 3 weeks ago?
Thanks,
Jon
Oh, and I’m not too concerned about exploits as this FreePBX is behind a firewall with NAT. It is not using any WAN VOIP services, only FXO lines, so it ought to be a lot more secure than typical systems. Still, I did the update.
Jon
Because it was in “Edge” release until last week Tuesday.
