It appears that make is not installed on Distro 2.210.62-6. Can anyone confirm this? I am wondering if it might not be installed on the latest track.
I can confirm that on the beta FreePBX-4.211.64-1-i386-Full-1365889835.iso media , also missing are jwhois (for fail2ban’s sendmail-whois), rsync, telnet and bind-utils for dig.
I will open a ticket later tonight.
Yes we only include base packages but you can yum install anything you want that is included in Centos repos. We have taken the stance so far of not bloating with packages but letting you pick to install them.
I had added a bunch of misc packages to the 3.x branch but they got missed on the initial release of 4.x.
Those being
zip unzip traceroute time tmpwatch telnet system-config-network-tui symlinks rsync dos2unix as they are common tools that people have asked for. They are already included in the 4.211.64-2 which should be out next week.
Also added bind-utils and jwhois
