Locked out of GUI

Hi all,

I changed the http port binding in web GUI System Admin option from port 80 to 8088 and was locked out of the GUI with the message “No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 192.168.1.6:8088”

I found and changed the conf file from 8088 back to 80 and I am still locked out with same message except now it is “No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 192.168.1.6:80” Port 80 instead of 8088

I am running stock 5.11 distro

Please Help ASAP

Did you restart apache?

service httpd restart

I think I did better, I restarted the whole box, numerous times.
