Load excluded module chan_alsa.so?

I would like to get the Asterisk module chan_alsa.so to load on FreePBX 15/Asterisk 16.
It’s there on the GUI under Asterisk modules under excluded modules, but adding it to manually loaded or preloaded modules doesn’t do anything.

It also doesn’t show up under freepbx*CLI> module show, so I guess it’s not present.

Am I missing something or is the information on the GUI stale and Asterisk doesn’t come with that module?

How did you install Asterisk?

module_load_error: Error loading module 'chan_alsa': /usr/lib64/asterisk/modules/chan_alsa.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

‘updatedb; find chan_alsa’ if succeeded , might reveal an architecture disconnect

Sorry, can’t help you here, ask the maintainers to include it. . .
Do you have the same problem loading chan_console cos they are kinda ‘bacon and eggs’ by my ‘reading between the lines’
