I have about 10 old Linksys Spa921/922s (now sold as Cisco), that I am having some issues with. By default on factory reset, it sends a request for MAC.cfg to my TFTP server. Only problem here is that Endpoint Manager for these models of phones (only Cisco Spa packages available) creates .xml files. I can change the file name in my /tftpboot to .cfg, and it works fine. I can also change in the phones web gui, what its requesting. However, I would like to know if and how I can change the file extension of the file created from Endpoint Manager for certain phones.
