LDAP Authentication at SoftPhone

Hi all,

I recently got my FreePBX 14 up and running.

When attempt to configure against Active directory, It was made successfully and I cloud manage to have the AD users created and linked to extensions on FreePBX , even connecting to UCP using AD credentials. Great, really easy to be done.

But when I attempt to connect my SoftPhone using the AD credentials, its not working.
Looking deep at log files, the only “info” presented is:
"NOTICE[2924] chan_sip.c: Registration from ‘"AD User Name"sip:[email protected]:5060’ failed for ‘xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx’ - Wrong password"
And I’m 110% sure that the password is correct…
I’m not finding any help regarding this, or even know if its really possible to be done.

Could anyone give some ideas about what to do?

Thats not how it works. You need to use the extension number AND secret generated in “Extensions”
