Kernel panic

I am running FreePBX distro (SNG7-PBX-64bit-1904 in a VM) with FPBX 14 and Asterisk 13.

I am not sure why, but today ı got a kernel panic. If I edit the boot menu and add acpi=off, it boots up properly.

I added acpi=off to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX in /etc/default/grp. Then, run grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg. The grub2-mkconfig command properly updates /etc/grub2.cfg (/boot/grub2/grub.cfg) by adding acpi=off to the vmlinuz line. However, when I start FreePBX, the CentOS menu (Ctrl-e) is still not showing acpi=off.

How can I write “acpi=off” permanetly in boot up sequence.

Thank you.

That should be the way, provided everything is working as supposed.
