I have some nice Allison wav low res audio recordings for my ivr. I’m uploading them to my new freepbx system. My sip trunks are set for ulaw only.
Will people calling in to my sip dids notice a difference if I use ulaw conversion vs wav for the ivr announcements?
The audio is normally transcoded on the fly to match your trunk/extension needs, so you’ve probably been hearing ulaw all along anyway.
