IVR setup

My first endeavor w linux and freepbx so excuse my ignorance.
I am trying to set up my IVR via the web GUI. All I want to do is have a user who selects “1” from the initial IVR to be forwarded to the next IVR which will play its message and after which, would auto forward the caller to a specific extension. It seems like it would be pretty straight forward and intuitive but I cant seem to figure this one out nor find any documentation.
Please show me the light.
Steve

ARRRRGGHHH!! Of course I just needed to post my question to figure it out. “t” in place of of a digit in the option section…

Iv implmented my IVR with x-lite and freepbx, i can provide you with necessary documentation.
its not that difficult but a little bit tricky.
email me at [email protected]
and do mention in the SUBJECT that you need IVR document,
il email it to you

I am wondering if you would have enough expertise to expedite my noob experience on freepbx.

If you could help a guy out I would appreciate it!

  1. I am trying to create an initial voice prompt for my pbx ivr.

  2. I want to have 3 initial dial options at initial call menu.

  3. after the caller chooses one of the options - it would bring them to a new menu - the new menu would ask for a serial (or extension number) - this extension number would bring up a set of options connected to a mobile number.

  4. When the mobile number has been connected & the following options have been picked, I need it to send a message / call - stating (which) options have been selected.

SUMMARY - - > call answer prompt—> reason for calling —> extension (connected to anonymous cell #) —> generated voice / text message (indicating reason for call)

If you have any clue on this or know anyone who may - you would literally be my hero!

Thanks,

Nick
