It’s been a about 6 months since I last setup a PBX, and on a new PBX installation for a client, I cannot figure out why the IVR beeps very loudly before playing the announcement. I’ve searched through inbound routes, time conditions, systems recordings, and IVR settings to try and find out how to disable this. It’s very loud.
I do not have any call recordings set up

Can you confirm that the beep is not part of the recording custom/bhours.slin’ by playing the recording? Maybe someone pressed a phone key while recording it (assuming they did so from the phone)?
@comtech You’re right! Somehow a beep got recorded in there. Not sure how, just had the client record over their phone extension… very odd, never had a beep recorded like that. THANK YOU!
don’t forget to make your thread resolved if it is.
