IVR does not play "welcome" announcement

Hi all,
I have an inbound route with Destination set to my IVR.
My IVR contains an Announcement (“Select a ‘System Recording’ here that will be played on entry to the IVR.”) and some IVR Entries, each containing a Digit and a Destination set to another Announcement.
All the Announcements contain custom recordings.

The problem is that the welcome announcement, to be played on entry to the IVR, does not play at all. After ten seconds, a default timeout message plays. If I press a digit during the call and the timeout message, the other announcements play without any problems. Only the first welcome announcement is silent.

The welcome message is indeed playing, but only after playing for 3 times a default error message (in my language) saying “We did not receive a valid answer”.
This should help!

Any hints?

Re-record it or reupload it and make sure you convert it properly.

I suspect your log would show a playback issue.
