IVR choppy audio


After I upgrade TB to the latest version, my IVR audio is very choppy. I have a dedicated box, Pentium 3.2Ghz, 1.5G RAM, so system resources are not a problem.

IVR and System Recording audios are terrible. However, Music on hold and phone calls are crystal clear.

Does anybody know what the problem is?

Any help is really appreciated.

I’ve only ever seen choppy audio on a CPU resources or bandwidth issue.

Sounds like your sound files for IVR and System Recordings are in a different format, and the transcoding is pushing you over the edge.

If you don’t have a neato 2.3.0 dashboard, then run top from the command line and watch the CPU/mem as you call.
