It's a complete Linux version?

I tried to install freePBX at a debian 8.6 server. But it wasn’t possible.
So I want to try this one.
But now my question:
It’s a complete linux version?
I also want to install also an other server like IObroker.
Or it’s impossible?
I use a Intel NUC i3.
I hope a lot of answers.
Greetings,
Mathias

Works fine; I have done it this way.

If you don’t want to build Asterisk from source you can use the Asterisk packages from apt-get if you know what you are doing.

I did it also at this way.
At the last step it was impossible to open the webUI of freePBX.
I tried to install it several times but every time the same problem.
So I downloaded freePBX Distro. But now I see i need to install apt-get first to install an other server.
Greetings, Mathias

You can’t have it both ways. Either apt-get if you go the debian way or build from source in RH if there is no rpm available.
