iSymphony Failed to initialize asterisk server connection

Last night I started to get disk usage warning emails from FreePBX.

I discovered that the iSymphony log file is growing at approximately 20MiB/hour.

The full message without trace is:

[core-server-xxxx] [AsteriskServerInitializationTimer] ERROR com.xmlnamespace.panel.server.core.asterisk.AsteriskServerInitializer - Failed to initialize asterisk server connection java.net.SocketException: Broken pipe

I disabled the iSymphony module in FreePBX (we aren’t using it) and the log is still filling up.

Can someone help me troubleshoot this?

Stop the service.

look in /etc/init.d and stop that service.

I actually just upgraded FreePBX to 10.13.66 and that fixed the issue.
