Hi guys,
We have FreePBX 14.0.1.20.
I tried to update XMPP module, then I got the error:
Removing Prosody…Done
Unable to remove Prosody, it is no longer used and conflicts with this package.
Please remove it before continuing
Error(s) installing xmpp:
Failed to run installation scripts
Updating Hooks…Done
I have removed Prosody via terminal and I got new error in Updates. Please, see attached screenshot.
Please, help me, how can I fix it?
Thank you!

Hi!
Known problem which I thought was fixed so maybe your modules are not up to date…
Run
yum update
from the command line…
If this is not successful, post the results here…
Good luck and have a nice day!

Hi Nick,
Thank you for your reply.
I have runned Yum Update from the command line, I found some warning messages. The situation hasn’t changed in Updates. Also I got messages on dashboard. I attached screenshots.
Thank you

HI!
Can you paste the whole list of messages for that yum update ?
This is text you know, you can paste it as such here and not as a picture…
I only see warnings and I am not quite sure why you are getting them, did you manually remove some isymphonyv3 directories from your disk?
By the way, has this system always been FreePBX 14 or did you upgrade from FreePBX 13 with the distro upgrade “script” ?
Good luck and have a nice day!

Hi Nick,
I didn’t manually remove some isymphonyv3 directories from our disk.
The system always been FreePBX 14, before it was beta version.

There are unfinished transactions remaining. You might consider running yum-complete-transaction, or "yum-complete-transaction --cleanup-only" and "yum history redo last", first to finish them. If those don't work you'll have to try removing/installing packages by hand (maybe package-cleanup can help).

Hi!
Looks like the update completed successfully, do you still have the problem?
DId you try running
yum-complete-transaction
as suggested by the error message?
Good luck and have a nice day!

Hi Kate!
What caused essentially the same problem for others were package updates which were resolved by running
yum update
What do you get now when you run yum update , can you please post it here?
There is also something else we can try, running a command similar (but not exactly identical since we don’t have it) to the one that failed.
Can you please run
/usr/bin/rpm -q --queryformat “%{NAME}.%{ARCH} %{VERSION}.%{RELEASE}\n” -a
and please post the result of this on pastebin.ca or pastebin.com and post the link they give you here?
(Please don’t post the results of this command here, it’s like 1600-1700 lines long…)
Good luck and have a nice day!

As for yum update , you are getting the exact same output as earlier

Do you get this over and over and over again each time you run yum update ? What happens if you do a yum-complete-transaction --cleanup-only before doing a yum update ?
There is a warning while updating the isymphony stuff but it seems to be handled properly…
Good luck and have a nice day!
