Is this possible-Dial phone number from my computer (Outlook)

Several years ago, I worked at a large government entity that had a really convenient feature on their VoIP system (I think it was Cisco on the backend). There was a plugin for Outlook that allow you to click on a phone number in your Outlook address book and the phone would dial it automatically.

Can Freepbx or my Yealink t-28 do that? I tried searching without much success. I don’t even know what it would be called, so it is hard to search for it.

I use this, it works OK except for caller ID on your handset will show your extension
