I’m having issues that I think are related with the firewall. When installing Asterisk Now from scratch what are the iptables settings? Is there a way to restablish the intial configuration?

I suggest you ask in the Asterisk Now forums. Someone might be able to give you some generic iptables advice in our forum.
If your system doesn’t have a public IP or ports opened to the Internet you can just shut ip tables off (services iptables stop).
If you are exposed to the Internet I would not trust stock configs to protect you.
