Invalid Extension

Hi all,

FreePBX 2.8 Asterisk 1.4

I noticed that when I have an option for invalid extension under IVR it will go to the IVR that I choose if invalid however sometimes there is a spot where it does not work and plays the “I’m sorry that is an invalid extension please try again, Goodbye” then it hangs up.

When the caller gets hung up on it seems kind of rude because it does not give the caller a chance to retype in a new extension.

Would I have to make a modification to the built in FreePBX dial plan or is this something I am stuck with?
