At least two people in environment experience intermittent silence for several seconds during calls. Handsets are GrandStream GXP 2100. One user is connecting to PBX over WAN, the other over LAN.
I’m a new FreePBX admin, having never touched anything with it before. Any help is appreciated.
A log of a failed call would tell whats up
Sounds like packets are getting dropped or your RTP pathway through the router is expiring.
Where would I find/review the failed call log?
Why would this only be happening to one or two users intermittently if this was the case? I would expect packets being dropped by the system would cause more people to have issues, and packets dropped by the handset would result in more frequent issues.
