Quick question to all. I want to use the wget command to installd the ring group. Once I have download the module, I would need to untar it, where should I put so it works as if I had done it using the Module Admin?
You can upload modules through module admin. Why would you over complicate this by extracting manually
I am not trying to over complicate things. There are many ways of doing certain things, I would like to know how to do it via the command line.
Sorry but that is highly unsupported. No one here should even attempt to walk you through extracting a module tarball and putting it into place. There are ways to use the CLI to download and install a module automatically but you want to do it manually for who knows what reason.
