I swear I’ve googled and searched this to death. Nvfax is grayed out as an option for fax detection and I don’t know how to install it. Can anyone point me to the location where this is explained?
I’m running the freepbx distro and using 2.10.1.1.

Gotcha. SIP or DAHDI doesn’t seem to work. I’m using sipstation and they don’t support the i.38 or whatever protocol so I guess I’m out of luck.
NVFax was used for SIP detection prior to Digium adding the fax detection to the SIP stack in asterisk so you have no need for it.
then how do you get it to work , I have the same problem. I just want to be able to send and recieve a fax to my VM once in a while . how to get this to work? please
