I am working on setting up IAX2 on FreePBX to avoid NAT issues. I just want to use IAX for remote softphones like Zoiper. For testing I have created one extension but it does not seem to be connecting to Les.net. I do not plan to have a DID from Les.
To accomplish this I have created on new Trunk and populated the Outgoing Settings only with
canreinvite=no
host=did.voip.les.net
fromuser=xxxxxxx
secret=xxxxxxx
type=peer
context=from-trunk
insecure=port,invite
nat=yes
I have created an outbound route named after the peer name les gave me.
Route name is the peer name from les
Route Password is the pin from les
Dial Pattern Local 7/10 Digit
Trunk Sequence: the only selected route it the new IAX trunk that I just setup.
Does this look correct?
Any suggestions as to why it is not working?
