Incoming call rejected because of caller ID

I have a strange problem with incoming calls from a specific person who has “221” as his caller ID. When a call comes in from that person, the call is rejected by the PBX with the following information:

[2019-01-14 08:07:33] WARNING[13584][C-0000242f] chan_sip.c: username mismatch, have <221>, digest has <XXXXX_XXXX (my trunk username)>
[2019-01-14 08:07:33] NOTICE[13584][C-0000242f] chan_sip.c: Failed to authenticate device "221" <sip:[email protected] (IP of the provider)>;tag=as44286017

Here’s what I think: the caller uses the same VOIP provider and same server as me. His caller ID is set (wrongly) at 221 and my system reject the call because it also has 221 in its extensions.

Anyone has a clue ?
