Inbound Fax to an extension

Can someone please give me a step by step on how to set up incoming fax pass through in FreePBX?

I would like to detect an incoming fax on a trunk and instead of sending to the voice extension I’d like to detect the tones and route the fax call to an extension configured for a fax machine using an ATA. My provider supports faxing and the ATA supports T.38 fax.

If you figured this out, I would love to know. I can’t get faxing to work at all through FreePBX to an Obihai ATA adapter. It works if I go directly to our provider who supports T.38 faxing but not through FreePBX.
