Inbound DAHDI to SIP Extension

Dear members,
After succesfully setting a BRI DAHDI inbound route (PBXact UC300 & Sangoma Card) and assigning the DID to an extension, I receive the following on incoming call. For privacy reasons XXXXXXXX represents the calling phone number and YYYYYYYY represents the DID number assigned to the BRI service by the carrier.

The issue appears to be assigning an incoming DAHDI to a SIP extension, however can not find sufficiently detailed documentation to assist.

A pointer from anyone is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I’m pretty sure that isn’t the right incoming context for a PSTN call. Perhaps “from-pstn” would work better?

@cynjut, from-digital is a valid inbound context.

@globalgen, you don’t have an inbound route that matches the DID of the inbound call, nor an Any/Any route that will match all inbound numbers.

Hi cynjut & lgaetz,
Thank you kindly for your respective replies. lgaetz, I noticed you are also a support engineer with Sangoma. Would you mind kindly having a look at ticket 758589 (Support VPN and SSH open) There is an inbound route defined for this card however perhaps not defined correctly. I can then see what was done and release an “How To” on this post to compliment the existign DAHDI no the wiki which takes us up to this point.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
