Second test:

  • Call my did number from my mobile

After 20 minutes I try to test again

I want to ask do I miss some thing here, every first time call always after 10 seconds can not hear any sound.

Thank you,

YOu have a network issue of some sort. YOu need to describe your network and how you have NAT configured in sip settings.

Hi SkykingOH,

This is my sip_nat.conf

nat=yes
externip=123.1xx.2xx.xx4
localnet=10.0.1.0/255.255.255.0

my freepbx behind linksys router.

As a test i also use Zoiper. Unplug the LAN cable that pluged in my freepbx box.
Set my PC IP same like freepbx, same internet gateway (my linksys router)

Make a call from my mobile to my DID number, Zoiper ring and every thing work great.

But when use freepbx, every first time call always after 10 seconds can not hear any sound.

The second and third call that work great.

WHat version of asterisk and freepbx? HOw was it installed? Sip_nat is deprecated so i wonder what other outdated advice you may have followed?

I am using Elastix 2.3.0 release 5, this is the last stable version that I got from elastix web page.

and for the FreePBX version 2.8.1 release 12

Well that’s exactly 1/4 of the information I asked for.

Sometimes it’s worse than pulling teeth around here.
