Inbound call delay

New to FreePBX. Just setup with a simple FXO port created inbound route to ring to extension. I noticed a long delay between first ring on caller’s side to start of ring on my extension, so I check the logs and see that there is consistent 10 second delay between the time the system recognizes a call coming and the next action shown in the log:

[2016-06-08 16:14:48] VERBOSE[17005][C-00000059] sig_analog.c: Starting simple switch on ‘DAHDI/28-1’
[2016-06-08 16:14:58] VERBOSE[17005][C-00000059] pbx.c: Executing [[email protected]:1] NoOp(“DAHDI/28-1”, "Entering from-dahdi with DID == ") in new stack

Is this normal?

It is probably waiting for CallerID from the analog line. If you search you will find similar reports and how to disable if your lines are not delivering CID.

I had suspected that but couldn’t find a way to turn off CID matching altogether. Finally found it under the DAHDI config for the card. Thanks.
