Inbound call - after timer goto extension


Is it possible to configure inbound routes so that you have a timer in which the extension does not answer or is busy, and the call goes to some other extension.

This only applies for inbound call, internaly the extensions do not have this timer.

I’ve check the FreePBX gui, but no luck - any ideas how to implement this via .conf files?

Sounds like a ring group to me. You can create a ring group with a single extension and define what happens to the call if nobody answers after a certain amount of time.

Is there a good reason why people ask questions in the tips and tricks section that are not in direct reply to a posted tip or trick?
