Image Management: duplicate image reported but not listed

I noticed that my background image is not appear on device anymore. I browsed to endpoint manager and image management and sure enough this image in question is not listed. So I went through the steps of reuploading and then I got an error “duplicate file found” but when I list images, the image I uploaded is not listed.
Seams to be some disconnect between what’s uploaded and what’s displayed.
