Im-sorry&an-error-has-occured)

Hi all,

I have installed asterisk and all went well, except…

After 3 rings from from either outside or another extension I get a
"im-sorry an-error-has-occured" message.

I do not have the Voicemail module loaded. Additionally I have the voicemail disabled for all extensions.

The asterisk CLI references macro-vm. I found that in extensions.conf.

Any help would be appreciated.

Loading the voicemail module and readding the extensions fixed the error.

there’s really not enough information to help. But for starters, load the voicemail module whether you are using it or not. In theory, not loading it should probably be fine - but it would not surprise me at all that it not being there results in problems.
