Dear Sirs,
just discovered the IEC 62820 normative that shoould contains all reference to build a intercom system.
Looking at device vendors none got a reference to this normative.
My question is how many of you know and apply this?
IEC 62820-3-1:2017 gives guidelines for planning, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of Building Intercom Systems
From the title I would see these as standards for installers (and related tasks such as design and planning within a project) not the hardware. Specific hardware may need to meet certain standards but that wouldn’t be a hardware level certification.
@jfinstrom thank you for the reply, maybe I’ve made the question in the wrong way.
I’m asking also to installers if they follow these in real life.
