This is probably a stupid question but is there an easy way to just update apache? Or if I run an update in System Admin will this take me to the latest version of Apache? My PCI scan is telling me that Apache v2.2.15 is vulnerable and I need to upgrade it. Thanks for any help!
No that version is the latest version that CentOS 6 ships with. They back port all security fixes into that version. This is how RedHat works. They don’t upgrade but backport.

Thanks Tony. Best bet might be to close the remote programming port and utilize a VPN instead
