How to Transfer from one pbx to extension on another

#1

Hello,

I am trying to setup my main pbx server so that when a certain ring group is accessed it will transfer the call to an extension on a secondary pbx. The two are talking to each other and calls between them are fully possible (tested many times). When I set up the ring group I put in the remote extension that I wanted to connect to but the IVR and ring group do not transfer to the remote extension.

How can I get this working? I am using:
PBX Version:15.0.16.75
PBX Distro:12.7.8-2008-1.sng7
Asterisk Version:16.13.0

on both PBX systems.

How are the two systems connected? IAX2? Do the extensions on both systems have different numbers?

Yes, they are connected via IAX2 trunks. On PBX one the extensions are 10XX and 20XX on PBX 2 the extensions are 21XX. On PBX one if I dial 21XX it will ring that extension on PBX two.

ad a # at the end of the extension if not local but available

Adding # at the end of the extension did the trick thank you much.
