How to register a SIP extension From a different PBX as a SIP trunk on FreePBX?

Hi there,
I have a MYPBX Enterprise M2 PBX and would like to take one of the extensions and set it up as a trunk to use at my home FreePBX system. I set up a trunk between the 2 units which works great for internal calls between the 2 systems, however i am unable to make outgoing calls using the this trunk. For some reason it keeps coming back with a message call cannot be completed. I was thinking by setting up the extension as a trunk i should be able to make an outgoing call.

Did you connect your outbound route with that Trunk?

On that remote PBX did you setup incoming calls from that Trunk to be able to call out?
