How to print key labels from UCP

Hi there,
our users are setting their speeddials and BLF keys on their phones by using UCP.

But how could they print it?

We’re coming from Gemeinschaft, there has been a nice option to simply print out a PDF with all the given names.

Is this option hidden somewhere?

Thank you.

Regards,
Michael

We have no such option since very few modern phones use paper anymore and have gone to all LCD screens.

Yeah

But I won’t throw all EOL phones (mainly Snom 360/370) away, which are still working without problems.
And even if I would upgrade, I would prefer to use not the newest stuff. Since the best and newest usually is not what I would call reliable.

I agree that it does not really make sense to create a new option here, it was just a question if I missed something.

Grandstream provides a zip full of editable PDF’s for their paper inserts. Maybe snom does too or you can request it?

Thanks @adtopkek, that’s quite a good idea I overlooked.

I’ll check that and post a link here if I was succesful.

You didn’t miss anything, but being able to export the list to some other form (like a CSV or PDF) would actually help a lot of people out. I suggest you submit a UCP Feature Request that asks for the ability to export the data for UCP speed dials to a CSV and then you can figure out how to make the inserts from there. That minimizes the churn on the development and maximizes your flexibility.

I have always used these guys for “desi labels and covers”

As suggested by @adtopkek I had a look on the Snom website and they indeed offer a small template for their phones.
It’s hidden within the documentation for the different models.

For the 3xx series one can find an office document here:

There are Word templates provided by snom to create the paper snipplets. They are quite handy as the fontsize is changed dynamically.
I found a link at nfon: https://www.mynfon.com/fileadmin/Handbuecher/snom/Schablone_Funktionstasten/KeyTemplate.doc

SO, we don’t even need a UCP module to download the list - if displayed correctly, you could use cut-and-paste and slap it into a template.

Cat skinned!
