How to make a second call ring on an extension that is already on another call

Hello all,

I’m sure this is an easy question, or at least I hope it is or that I have phrased it correctly. I am a newbie with PBX and I pretty much have no idea where to go to implement. I am more than happy to ready any existing material on the subject, I just need a pointer in the right direction.

This depends on what type of phone you are using. For example Polycom phones by default do not ring what a second call comes in, instead they make a call waiting beep. You can change the config of the phone to ring instead. How you configure the phone to ring instead of beep is dependent on the type of phone.

Ah ok, we use Aastra phones in this particular case. Can you recommend any good guides for changing the configuration on those?
