How to Block some of the extenstions numbers calling external (Outbound) calls

Hi Everyone. I’m new to FreePBX system. I have currently added SIP and am now able to call the outside world. But my issue is how can I restrict some of the extensions here and there from getting external calls. I searched over the internet and in the community, and there were some answers but it’s not worked. Is there any way to do this happen?

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

There are three options:

  1. You can use the CallerID field of your Outbound Routes to have those routes available to only the extensions specified. You can use patterns to match a group of extensions. If only a few are to be restricted, you can have a dummy route (with no trunks) that matches the restricted extensions, placed above the ‘regular’ routes but after any emergency routes.

  2. If your system can run commercial modules, see
Extension Routing | FreePBX - Let Freedom Ring

  3. For even finer control of what each extension can do, see

Setup Extenson routing. It’s a free module
