How specific does Versions have to be for Backup/Restore?

I have a system that is at 10.13.66.1 that I did a backup, I downloaded the file and uploaded it to a version 10.13.66.8 system and got a “Error uploading file” message. The .1 version had our “skin” on it the other didn’t. By skin I mean the branding that Schmooze has done for us.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

make sure you backup /var/www/admin/ and that should CYA within major releases. Then you can just upgrade modules after if needed.

Are there any DB entries or is it all just basically copying specific files? I must admit I have not done much with the Backup/Restore
