Is there a way to bulk edit user management’s contact manager groups?
updating the contactmanager_group_entries tables makes values appear in contact manager, but does nothing for userman.
My solution was to write a script that generates a directory file based on extension values. Re-runs nightly to stay in sync.
User management display names do not stay in sync with extension display names when linked. Easily fixed with a simple script to modify SQL tables, but no feature exists by default to manage this.
(This is crucial when admins edit extensions and not userman, then get confused when another extension calling them shows the incorrect name when extensions shows correctly)
No bulk edits for userman contact manager = micro-management.
